About The Course

With the Department of Homeland Security now manning the front lines in the war against terrorism, it's more likely that regulatory actions will become more intense and more enforced. The goal of this self-study is to give you the knowledge to implement security action plans and understand the various elements of homeland security Based of the "Homeland Security Law Handbook" published by Government Institutes. This unique 13-lesson Self-Study course is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Homeland Security laws, regulations and policies. The course is based on Government Institutes' new Homeland Security Handbook, and provides you with a complete, easy-to-use study guide for independent learning. The Self-Study Course includes 362 pages of practical information, supplemented with learning objectives, exercises, self-assessments, and a master exam to reinforce the training. Complete the master exam successfully to qualify for 16 continuing education credits from Government Institutes and receive a personalized Certificate of Achievement. The course is recognized for professional recertification credit. Contact ABS Consulting for more information on accreditation. Like Resource Training Institutes' other independent study courses, the Homeland Security Self-Study Course includes student access to a professional instructor who is available to answer questions by fax and email throughout the course.
